Celebrating the meeting place of two cultures
Being a part of our event has both financial and PR advantages for your business so jumping on board now to the lead up to the 2020 250th Anniversary of Captain Cook landing will benefit you enormously. The Government has announced almost $50 million in funding to commemorate this historic event. We have had business' such as Caltex supporting us almost every year but will always welcome new partners. HOW TO GET HERE
- LOCALS: Kurnell locals can walk, skate, scooter or bike to the Fair
- PUBLIC TRANSPORT: Catch the train to Cronulla Station, from there jump on the 987 bus or Uber it to Kurnell
- DRIVING: There is plenty of all day street parking and rest assured wherever you are, it is an easy 10 minute stroll from anywhere in Kurnell!
Kurnell has something to offer everyone, a bike ride with the family, a picnic in the Kamay National Park, a dip in the ocean at Silver Beach or lunch at one of our yummy cafes... Make sure you make the most of it and spend the entire day exploring. You can even bring your furry friends, but remember to keep them on a leash, stick to the dog beach and pick up after them!
Kurnell is a significant cultural and ecological asset and the local residents and businesses work collectively to help regenerate and protect the community's natural environment. We ask that you take responsibility for your waste and dispose of properly in the proper bins or take it with you.
ACCESS & INCLUSIONS
Kurnell Village Fair is a FREE event for all. Marton Park is a flat grassed surface. Access from Captain Cook Drive, opposite Silver Beach Road is recommended via the park driveway. Accessible toilets will be provided for the event.
WHAT IF IT RAINS
In the case of inclement weather, the Kurnell Village Fair may be cancelled. An announcement will be made before the event on the website and social media platforms @kurnellvillagefair2231 should the weather prevent this event from proceeding.
